Dear Friends:

As we are about to close the curtain on 2011, the FOFL Board of Directors wants to thank all our donors and volunteers for another successful year. On December 21st, we were able to donate another $6,000 to the Library Board of Trustees for the Capital Campaign. That makes a total of $35,000 FOFL has contributed because of your hard work and dedication. In addition, we have contributed thousands of dollars worth of books to the Library and countless volunteer hours.

In October, the FOFL Board of Directors held their annual election. The new officers are as follows:

President: Jeanie Sieling
Vice-President: Alice Jenson
Secretary: Christine Greger
Treasurer: Karen Grimmer

The new officers will take over on January 1, 2012.

If you haven’t contributed to the “Feed the Bookworm” campaign, please consider doing so. All money raised will assist the Library with children’s programming. Click on the “Feed the Bookworm” button on the home page for details. We could really use your support for this fundraising effort.

Lastly, I want to thank all of you for your efforts to make this Library wonderful and for supporting the Friends of the Fitchburg Library. As my term as President comes to a close, I am so grateful to have met and worked with many of you. You have made a difference in our city and in my life.
